Views of my world

Breakfast

This was the view as I had breakfast this morning, just gorgeous! Brendan left this morning which gave me the chance to grab a hug from my other Uncle Alasdair who I also haven't seen in about 12 years (maybe even longer!). Family is so important, you have to hold on to what you have and cherish each moment together as it's so precious. Also got to see the fab Mrs Mac and her two gorgeous boys who are just bundles of energy at 4 and 6, I remember it well!

In between the three of us went to a couple of our favourite haunts. We started at Auldearn antiques where Freya got a beautiful vintage dress then went to Logie Steading for lunch in the sunshine. There are some lovely shops there in the old courtyard and I got some fibre for spinning and a wee pressie for Carlos. We also walked round the gardens which were just beautiful in the summer sunshine.

Christine cooked us another tasty meal then Freya and I chilled out, she painted my nails and I even got on with some knitting. Another perfect day.

PS rhubarb vodka is delicious - Karen, please make some!
