Lord Howe- Day 6

This may not be the best image I took today but it was the one that was the most challenging; we decided we would do some walking so after visiting North Bay and Old Gulch (up and over a steep 140 metre ridge), then on the return journey we diverted to Kim's Lookout (182 metres) and back to our lodge. Met quite a few friendly and encouraging people along the track. I think we will sleep well tonight!

This place has a real sense of, what I can best describe as, purity about it. It is something special, the only challenging thing is the TV; the news seems mostly to be Melbourne based (even though most flights are from Sydney) but the advertisements relate to Alice Springs (Central Australia). I wonder if 'home delivery' would extend to Lord Howe?
