The search is over...

I've been in the market for a new tripod but was cringing at the prices when I found these fabulous legs at the thrift store for $5.99. From there I matched it up with a converter that would work with the mount on a Giotto ball head and I have a fabulous, smooth, albeit very heavy, tripod. I was looking for rock solid during long exposures and wind though so I am thrilled. Even with my heavy macro 105mm, no creeping. All this for under $100.00 bucks!
