Birds of a Feather....

This morning we biked for several hours in the Robison Preserve. The trails in the preserve led us through acres of coastal saltern, marshes, and mangrove habitats. I wanted to stop about every quarter of a mile to take a picture! The area was full of wildlife; roseate spoonbills, wood storks, white pelicans, egrets and several birds that I had never seen. Moira was so excited to climb the 40 foot tall observation tower to look for wildlife. On the way up the tower she told us that this was a very cool place. We are so happy that she is learning to love the outdoors. Many times doing our ride on the trail she spotted a bird and wanted me to take a picture. I think it will not be long until she has her own camera to take bird photos. Hope everyone had an awesome Friday.
