Home working day; probably just as well after the empties I recycled...
But processed loads, met in Leith for lunch, then picked up after work and dropped her home.
Carried on to Captain Curran's and we'd decided to forgo Arthur's Seat for a more adventurous Monday evening stroll - Mendick Hill just past West Linton.
We drove out, parked by the golf club and wandered off along flat path, mostly in woodland which was handy as the rain was - erm - persistent and me without a jacket. Still, warm enough to be an issue.
It dried as we broke cover and a deceptively steep nasty climb to the top; but what views.
So green, gentle rolling countryside on all sides. Just a break from our usual Seat fixation.
