Basking...again

It hit 28 degs C today so there was no shortage of sun bathing animals to blip. However most were of the human type so these curious pigeons enjoying the Sun are today's choice instead.
Actually, this is the animal version of the Commonwealth Games - I managed to get tickets for the pigeon gymnastics, these guys did a double act on the beam, it was going really well, Gold was in their grasp but then someone in the audience dropped their crisps and the pecking instinct took over...so close!

There will be no basking tomorrow, rain expected. On the plus side there will be CAKE - huzzah, that totally makes up for the rain don't you think? We're having the family over for a wee birthday party. However, there will not be cake unless I get up early to bake it, so off to bed for me.
