Peaceful protests have recently taken place in Manchester between supporters of Palestine and supporters of Israel.

Pro-Palestine protests have focussed on a city centre shop that sells imports from Israel.
As a counter to this, members of Manchester's Jewish community have been out to show their support for Israel.

A small police presence separates the two groups of flag wavers; and every now and again, members from both communities come together for a conversation.
