cleaning for yes!

yes aberdeen have a new hub, and it needed a bit of a clean before stuff can be moved in. I decided to take ella for a run on the way in to help kevin...but ella's gear stick broke and she had her first aa visit of the season. well, she hasn't been driven for a while...ah, it's always a joy to drive her, ha!

anyway, the hub is clean and ready for some yes action...and beefy towed me back to meldrum and fixed the gear stick. just as well my van comes with a handy vw mechanic husband.

me and gillian went off to a yes event up in peterhead at night which was boiling hot. met some nice folk and john the common weal guy was excellent. it was a shame robin mcalpine couldn't make it, but john really was great. if you don't like politicians but are interested in how people and communities can shape government policy, have a look at the link.
