It ain't arf hot mum ...

Another lovely warm day. Well, at least until this afternoon's heavy rain. The hot weather seems to be affecting the animals. The dog has spent much of today stretched out asleep, the cat has been curled in a shady corner, and the snake - well, Raoul has taken to the cool of his cave.

He has been there all day, occasionally peering out, ever watchful. Maybe his reptile stomach feels empty. Tomorrow is once-a-fortnight meal day.
