Surprises come in small packages :)

I opened the front door to go in the garden after the rain today, and there were two white cabbage butterflies on the lavender along with this beauty :)

I've never seen one of these in my garden before, so I looked it up and I think its a 'comma' :) Can anyone confirm?

Phew! An extremely hot day, culminating in a bit of a flood and thunderstorm just as I got home from work... So glad to be at the weekend :)

In other news, I very nearly bought a new camera this week... Since it only had one lens and was really more than I can afford at this stage (I really need a new bathroom), I let it be...
