Piedmont

We have been in Italy 5 days in the Piedmont region surrounded by vineyards.
Of course we had to sample the local wine and I was surprised to see some of it has a very low alcohol content (5 %) …which nowadays is probably what I should be drinking. (I am known to add water to red wine and call it a "rouge light")

Isn't Italian the most wonderful language?
I am embarrassed to to say I have virtually no Italian, but although they could be talking about lancing boils, or finding a plumber it all sounds so musical and romantic!
