New Growth

More rain overnight and it was a pretty dull early morning as we set off on the walk. Lots of puddles, rain on bushes and leaves on the ground with everything looking scrubbed clean.

I caught a shot as the sun suddenly broke through the clouds and hit the beautiful new red growth of the hedge as it sparkled in the morning light. It was gone again a few minutes later!

The past two days have been particularly busy with visitors dropping in unexpectedly leaving me no time for blipping. But yay its the weekend and hopefully I'll catch up a bit. :0)
