Ether

Ether, before and after Einstein's theory of relativity.

Ether, the inspiration behind the name Ethernet , was believed to be, before Einstein's theory of relativity, a light and wave transmitting transparent medium that filled space beyond the Earth's atmosphere (high air).

Ethernet technology is now a method that transmits information to fill the space within our lives ... and that connection can sometimes have the same effect on us as Ether Diethyl's anesthetic and psychological addiction properties, that is, numbing reality.
