Sitting in the shade for a coffee...

And the heat continues ..
:-) we really are getting a summer this year!
I took Alex to a friend's house for the day - over at Higham and on the way back put my car in for a hand wash and valet on the road behind the High street. (It is going for it's first service and first MOT tomorrow and I haven't washed it in over a year a v long time- embarrassing!)
This gave me perfect excuse to test out the new Costa on the High street and mooch about looking in the shops - was good, only bought coffee...

Back at home Fred and I ordered our currency (Ooh getting near now) for both Alex's and Our trips... then tootled to the High street again for a light beer/wine lunch and a coffee in the shade where we sat alongside Mr Hat... don't know who he is but I thought he looked quite fetching!

Child returned - took life easy
