Oddly normal

My meeting with the bosses today sunk to new depths of oddness (for me) when the president of the university stood up at his desk and started praying with no warning at all. I mean, where do you look? This guy is an intelligent, highly respected businessman, but it was hard not to just gawp in disbelief when it happened. When I see it in action like that, I can't help but hold a little apprehensive awe at the power of the Islamic faith. Otherwise intelligent people, and all that.
