Away from the Ardeche

Today we took a friend of Darling Son #2 back to his parents in the Minervois region. This is the top room in their house, an interesting room as it has a roof terrace for half of the floor space and then this section is tucked in under the eaves.
Totally different to our jumble of granite blocks but still a beautiful house. We loved the tiles and have decided we want something very similar in our downstairs cave.
Right by the river, although the area gets very hot, hotter than up in the Ardeche mountains, you can always cool down with a quick swim in the surprisingly cold pool there.
