8am this morning with the sun blazing down, the mothership (with spire) is on the right and Kendal castle, birthplace of Henry VIII's sixth wife, Catherine Parr in the distance

Consulting rooms exceeded 30degrees today, patients who came in with eye or ear infections were hoping to have to take their clothes off!! Doctors, nurses and staff were wilting. Occasional visits to air conditioned waiting room and conference room were necessary
