NOT WHAT IT SEEMS!

A short walk for the dogs this morning as I decided to go to a water aerobics
class at the swimming pool. A different instructor takes the Thursday class so it was quite interesting to compare with the class I usually attend on a Monday.

We took Snoop Dog back to the vet for his check up on his eyes - the vet was very pleased and seemed to think that the improvement will continue, so we do not need to go back again. We took the dogs out for a proper walk in the evening.

Not a very inspiring blip, I forgot I had not taken any photos right at the end of our walk and all opportunities had gone!
This is a blip of some Reedmace (Typha latifolia) A Victorian artist's error turned this plant into an "imposter" when he painted "Moses in the Bulrushes" from the biblical story, he in fact showed the cradle among a clump of reedmaces - much more spectacular plants than the bulrush, which has few leaves and is topped by several clusters of flower-heads. the reedmace was so named because of its mace-like appearance.
