Evening preening
I thought it was time to have another blip of the swan family at Blackford Pond. The cygnets have been growing fast and don't have much of the "aah" factor left. I suppose this is the "ugly duckling" stage. They are on their usual bit of the bank - their regular preening station, you can see the feathers - and the mother swan is in attendance too, just out of the frame to the left. Another beautifully sunny afternoon.
