Bath time

The birds were having great fun cooling off in the saucer on the wall this morning, at one point there seemed to be a neat queue forming as they all waited their turn to wash away the dust!
It's been another warm day, Coco has been in and out of the shade all day - she seems to enjoy lying in the sun and once she's too hot, she comes inside where its cool, and lies against the cool leather of the sofa. I've suggesting lying on the kitchen tiles but while it's ok to lie on the patio, inside she prefers the rug.
Book Group tonight, we've been reading The Rosie Project by Graeme C. Simsiony, which I really enjoyed. I had feared that it would be a rom com, which it was, but it was beautifully written. The romantic lead was a middle aged professor, suffering from Aspergers Syndrome, which was obvious to everyone but him, his need to take everything quite literally leads to all sorts of funny situations especially when he meets the free spirited Rosie.
