A scramble to swim!
We had a relaxing dip in Zebedee Hot Springs before the scramble to Amalia gorge. It was fun though a bit rough in places. The afternoon walk in El Questro Gorge was something else - a narrow gorge with cliffs hundreds of feet high, which meant wading through deep pools to scramble further. Our guide had to leave us as there was an emergency further up - there had been a rock falls which shattered a man's arm and foot. Evo had to descend the gorge to get a phone signal for help which took 2 hours to come as the nearest medics were over 100 km away, and the gorge was too narrow and deep for a helicopter rescue. We only had paracetamol to give him, but the drugs the medics had must have been good - he proposed to his girlfriend from the stretcher!
