The vigil .....

..... for the children of Gaza.


This evening I headed over to Bradford with Earthdreamer ( Bob ) to go and see the Finding Vivian Miaer documentary film which is currenty showing at the Media Museum. We had a bit of time before the film started so had a walk around town where I introduced Bob to Mr Singh who we had an interesting chat with and an invite from to join him drinking Polish beer next time we see him.

The film was a fascinating insight in to the life of Vivian Maier. although it would have been good to see a bit more of her photography in the documentary.

After the film Bob headed off to catch the train whilst I stayed in town for a bit longer to take some photos at a candlelit vigil for the children of Gaza being held in City Park. There were prayers and guest speakers with many children in the crowd. I don't profess to be very well informed on the situation in Gaza and Palestine but found the reading of over 120 names of children who have lost their lives in Gaza over the last couple of weeks quite moving.
