Crosswalk E 24th, NYC

Took a walk around Midtown Manhattan > Madison, Park, Lexington and saw this crosswalk on E24th as I was going to Manhattan Saddlery. Great shop for riders and horse lovers.

Wished I could finally get a hold of a Canon EOS 7D. Does anyone know if the Tamron 18-275mm lens is compatible w the 7D features? I would love the Canon EF 28-300mm lens but it is more expensive than the body. Hmmm...
