Peace!

Staff night out at the Cavendish tonight.

Started out with a bit of a dilemma about what to wear and I almost posted a collage of all the outfits I'd tried on to decide...but couldn't be bothered creating one!

It was a nice evening, particularly as we all sat in a big circle outside having a drink and chat before dinner. It was then we said goodbye to Julie. I can't believe that's another one leaving!
Peter and Clair came and it was nice to catch up.

The meal was good and we all had a good chat but unfortunately the staff said they could play our music through their system. That bit wasn't actually the problem, the problem was when the young ones (Chris T) decided that the music needed to be up as loud as it could go! No-one was dancing....everyone was just straining to carry on their conversations through the noise! :(

Almost everyone started to make a move for home at the same time. I walked out and found such a relief at the 'space' (from noise) and it was such a balmy evening that I went for a little walk along the river and climbed down to the 'shore' while everyone else took off. Ahhhh! It was beautiful!

Lights on buildings always draw my eyes, so I took this before reluctantly packing myself in my car to drive home!!!
