Augustus Gloop

Spent a lovely day in Truro with Bella and Clare after dropping the smallies at school.

A cracking Hub lunch followed by ear piercing for Bella - an early birthday present! MrRoly met us in time for a quick Baking Bird visit before returning to school to collect the smallies again.

Tonight was the Yr6 production of Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. Ally played Augustus Gloop and was super - he hammed up the comedy side of his role and enjoyed licking off the chocolate icing that was all round his face! Once again I am a very proud parent.

An impromptu "Gin Club" meeting at The Shed for cocktails. But not too many as it is Ally's leavers assembly in the morning. It would appear mine are the only children left in the country who still have a full day left of school :-(
