here we go

This is me. Just one guy trying to figure out where he is going.

If there is one thing I have learnt, it is to see the beauty in the first steps of a journey. They are tentative steps not knowing exactly what will unfold, but sure that something, good or bad but probably both, will be waiting for you. The only certainty is that challenges will arrive. Author Don Juan says in Tales of Power, that "The basic difference between an ordinary man and a warrior is that a warrior takes everything as a challenge while an ordinary man takes everything either as a blessing or a curse." By this account I am an ordinary man, but one who wants to see this next journey through the unyielding eyes of a warrior. God help.

Come on this journey with me as I follow God, first to New Zealand and possiblly the world. I hope to update this photo journal fairly regularly. The only catch with this website is that when I take a photo I need to upload it onto this site in the same day. Could make it interesting, but I hope to use it as a challenge to update more ofen. Even if it is just a picture, because we all know pictures can speak 1000 words.

I set course for the remarkable country of New Zealand, Monday February 1st with no precise plan, only a desire for adventure and passion for a creator. I honestly have no idea where this journey will take me or when it will end. All I know is I must go. The first step must be taken before the second foot knows where it will fall.

I hope this site is useful for anyone wanting to keep informed and engage with me in this quest we call life.
