Grimsthorpe Castle

Thank you all for your kind comments and thoughts over the past few days. I have really appreciated all your support too - you are a fantastic community of Blippers!

This is Grimsthorpe Castle, not far from where we live. JohnW and I decided to take a trip out with Biskit in the sunshine, and as dogs are not allowed in the castle itself this is the closest we got to it. The grounds are really beautiful, with loads of space to walk, with parkland, woodland and a large lake. Dogs are allowed everywhere except the castle itself and its formal gardens. There is a tea-room and gift shop, and everyone we met there was very friendly and helpful.
