Different treatment on an old faithful. Lots of choppy waves smoothed off with a big nine stop ND filter.

Was glad of that breeze this afternoon as the mercury soared and I melted into a saddle, though it didn't stop the bugs flying; have counted at least a dozen (new) big red itchy lumps courtesy of our thirsty local insects. Wee shites.

Posting during the Glasgow Commonwealth Games opening ceremony, whilst the competitors from all over the old pink bits of the atlas (does Google Maps even know where some of these places are..?) parade into the stadium. Was chuffed to spot our niece earlier as shed danced on the stage with Rod Stewart, and waiting to see if we can spot her again in the finale.
