Past its Peak

Our third walk in the White Peak before our return home took us to Tideswelldale, Millersdale, Cressbrookdale and Tansleydale - another favourite with a good range of scenery.
I'd hoped to catch a Dark Green Fritillary again, and had hoped for a better specimen but they were mostly looking a little ragged, like this one. Another hot day, but we were helped on our way by a cooling breeze.
