Back on German soil - in my adopted country; land of my spouse and fatherland for my children - and it's the final game of the FIFA 2014 World Cup. Germany faces off against Argentina in Brazil. I might be seriously jet-lagged and a little homesick for the country I just left - but nothing will stop me from joining the festivities to watch the match and celebrate our certain victory :)

Tonight I joined a group of my expat (let's be honest) immigrant friends to watch the finals at a local pub. We all came adorned in schwarz-rot-gold to cheer for Deutschland :)
