Purple

A very hot day. I tried to do some gardening mid morning but it was just too hot. I sat in the shade making jewellery and reading.

Noticed that there's a lot of purple in the garden at the moment, two of the prettiest plants being a Penstemon and the Teasel flowers, the insects love them both.

I started the day quite healthily and made some juice using celery, carrot and apple - MrD bought me a very fancy juicer many years ago and I've hardly used it.

For dinner I made my version of pakoras, I added a beaten egg and lots of shredded veggies including kale from the garden. MrD had sausages & chips & beans :-)
