Barking dog conundrum

This dog lies in wait for unsuspecting pedestrians and cyclists as they walk and cycle up Stratherrick Brae - barking furiously as they pass and no matter how much I mentally prepare myself for the possibility of him hurtling out of the darkness of the wood I STILL get a fright! Pathetic I know!!!
