Laurie

This is my friend June's husband, Laurie, who celebrated his 81st birthday last week.

It wasn't easy trying to get a 'natural' photo of him. June reckoned his natural look was a grumpy one, but whenever he tried to look grumpy we all burst out laughing. This triptych is probably in the wrong order, but I think they are all 'natural'.

Tomorrow I'm off to the only event in the Commonwealth Games that we managed to get tickets for - rhythmic gymnastics - with friend Gill. It's an evening session, so we'll be late home and I may not blip until Friday.

J is home! "A poor soul", according to the best friend who has been a rock to her these past five weeks, and very vulnerable. I know J will be in bed most of the time, which makes visiting a bit of a dilemma...
