cooling down

A herd of a 100 maybe mixed deers were resting under the huge oak trees just by Roehampton Gate this afternoon. Some of them even had a bath in a drying out pond i.e. mud.

Quite amazing experience being very relaxed and next to them, so close I could hear them breathing in humid air, very heavily … I hope as soon as the sun moves and they have a bit of shade they will have a bath in nearby Beverley Brooks …
