Not a bad place to work

This is the reception area of the hotel where Bryan and I are staying this week for our "downtime" between teams. It is open and breezy and has this beautiful outlook over Lake Victoria. The only frustrating thing is that the lake is not safe to swim in, due to Bilharzia, and the swimming pool of which they boast on the website is slimy and green, due to challenges with the pump and interrupted electricity supplies. Fortunately, the weather has not been sweltering hot, so we have been quite content to catch up with our paperwork and emails while sitting here. With monkeys and hornbills in the trees all around, it is never totally quiet even though there are only 4 other people staying here. Very relaxing indeed.
