Haircut
I went through to see Bill at the Southern General today. When Annie & I arrived, he was being assessed by an occupational health nurse. He's a lot better, but still has problems focusing with one eye and writing.
We took him out into the sun and Annie gave him a haircut. He's in reasonable spirits, but is desperate to get home. Having seen his ward and his dinner of microwaved chili con carne, I don't blame him.
The journey back was grim. Rush hour getting through Glasgow followed by the Celtic/Reykjavik fans heading for Murrayfield. It took 2 hours to get to the Guildford. But I got there just in time for a round.
