IASH 1

I'm moving away from Edinburgh in August and one of the main reasons why I started this blipfoto journal is to try and make myself take lots of photos from my Edinburgh life so that I won't forget it. Accordingly, this is probably the first of many photos of IASH (the institute for advanced studies in the humanities at the university of Edinburgh) where I have spent this year working as a postdoctoral research fellow.

I've read that a messy desk is one of the keys to creativity so this is my excuse for letting my desk at IASH get so out of control. It's been one of the most productive years of my life though so I think it may well have worked.
