Torn between.........

I went back to the same jetty as I used a few days ago when I utilised my big stopper filter to get this ultra-calm image.
My intention was not to shoot this jetty tonight as there was a lovely timber jetty falling into disrepair around the corner from this modern new jetty. Last time I visited the tide was so high that the old jetty was simply inaccessible.
I was having such a grand time tonight playing with this old jetty- standing on rocks covered in oysters, the tide gradually creeping higher and higher. I was blissfully happy with this shot.
Finally about 10 minutes after sunset there was no colour at all in the sky and the sun was well and truly gone and so I headed back to the car. As I was unpacking my gear the sky suddenly lit up the most beautiful colours.
I turned to my right and there was this just begging for a quick shot. Although i still love the colours and calm in the other shot this one won my heart :)
