Brand new

I saw Riley staring over the pasture towards the pond this morning, when I went outside I heard mooing coming from the direction. I pulled on my boots and tramped across the field, and this is what greeted me. This is this cow's first baby and she is a very good mama.

It was a muggy warm day today, not a drop of rain, but possibly tomorrow. So far we're not struggling, but if it stays this hot with no rain, not sure what's going to happen to the garden.
