some kind of white dragonfly...

or maybe it's orange - all i know - is it's some kind of - iridescent - something or other - which is shining in the sunlight - and this little guy - was flitting about - faster than anything - refusing to land for me - even though - i was doing my bestest sweet talking to him - for minutes - until finally! - he landed a ways out in my little lake - on a piece of driftwood no less - i had to do a bit - of a balancing act - to try to get off a decent shot - of him - so it isn't the best - by far - yet it was a challenge i refused to resist - especially because he was so unusual looking - with that amber/orange on his wings - i think i've seen white before - perhaps, though - one of you can help with an - identification of sorts - plus, the dragons have been so rare this summer - i would've been kicking myself - if i hadn't at least tried - to capture him
