Caledonia

A full day of the Tiree Music Festival - loads of amazing musicians and singers - some local,some from a bit further away.

The day ended with the Peatbog Faeries who were AWESOME - the trad music equivalent of Calvin Harris (sort of!) the stage was bouncing and the lights going crazy - so much fun.

My personal highlight of the day, Dougie McLean leading the tent in a pretty emotional rendition of Caledonia. I didn't expect it, but I cried my eyes out! Being on such a beautiful island, with the most good natured festival go-ers I've seen, it was hard not to be moved. A very special moment.
