Sunrise over Duurswouderheide

The sun rises over the heathland at Duurswouderheide, Frisia, The Netherlands.

We're in Bakkeveen again for our summer holiday, just like two years ago. Back in 2012, we went for a bicycle ride and found a nice vantage point overlooking the landscape of Duurwouderheide. The photo I made that day gave me the idea to return to the location in better conditions. And that's exactly what I did this morning. Getting up at silly 'o clock when on vacation: completely bonkers, or not?
