Ooops!

This time last year I won one of the awards at our dive club and this was presented at the club AGM.

I could not be at this years AGM last evening as I had another AGM on the same date. So, I had arranged to take the trophy to the treasurer's house for her to take it to the meeting for me.

Unfortunately, on the way to her front door, I dropped it and this was the result. It is now on its way to my brother - a carpenter - for restoration. He doesn't know yet, but I'm sure he will help me out for the odd pint or two!

I have it on good authority that, if nobody else in the club drops a clanger between now and this time next year, I will be up for the 'wreckers' award! There is a whole year to go so I feel pretty safe.

This years 'wreckers' award was won by one of our members who sunk his car. Yes...........sunk his car. If you want to know more, let me know and I will tell the tale.
