Birthday Princess

P's 3rd birthday today!!! I can't quite believe my baby girl is now 3 years old. I just doesn't seem real at all.

We've had a fab day. We all woke up late this morning and then had a nice relaxed present opening session. There was no messing with the wrapping paper this year, it came straight off! Once everything had been fully inspected and played with, we then had p's favourite breakfast of pancakes.

We then headed off to the zoo. The sun was shining and it was a gorgeous day. The zoo was great. So many animals to see. The tigers, monkeys and the play area were the highlights. After lunch we were walking along and saw an area cordoned off and what appeared to be a film crew inside one of the enclosures. A nice lady filled us in and said that David Attenborough was in there filming the cheetahs! We could see him from afar. Unmistakable in his cream chinos and blue shirt!

Once we got home this evening grandma & grandad popped round for a birthday tea. We put cbeebies on for the 4 o'clock showing of the birthday cards and P's was on there!! The last one of the day and we saw it live. P was very impressed to see her picture on TV. After tea we had birthday cake then time for bed.... Phew what an exciting day!
