Any excuse...

to drive the new car!! The other day I spotted an amazing sight.. a totally blue hill amongst the golden corn fields. At the time I was unable to stop to take a photo but it was a very intriguing sight. Today.. with the sun shining.. and the new car I decided to go and investigate.. I really wasn't sure what the crop was.. perhaps linseed but I thought it was rather purple.. and I was amazed when I found it finally!! It's borage!! Why would the farmer be growing acre upon acre of borage? the oil perhaps? or does he drink Pimms like me!! (certainly it's a good place to know about or a flower or two for the Pimms!) He had a large sign next to the field saying BEES and the air was full of their humming so he obviously has some borage flavoured honey in the making!

It made for a good drive out with the roof down !!
