The heat, the heat!

Definitely the hottest day of the year in our back garden! Scratch and Ollie spent most of the afternoon lying in the shade and we saved our long walk for the cool of evening time.

This lovely old lady is Jessie, she lives next door and we let her out during the day while her folks are at work. Usually she and Ollie snuffle around together and there is lots of tail wagging and mutual sniffing but today it was just too hot for dogs!
