Palisades

Took the southern route on Highway 50 to return to Salt Lake. Between Gunnison and Delta, we passed these fantastic palisades near Blue Mesa. Tatonka dragged our load over 11,375 foot Monarch Pass and we slid down the other side into desert country again. Not as hot as the week before but still hit 100 F in Green River. No wonder it's deserted.
