Do you want to die old and slow or young and tragic?

Maybe the answer changes with age?

Certainly the still-living aged rock stars who wished to die before they got old would certainly seem to suggest so.


Or maybe we have become less alienated between generations? What was the horror that scared the pampered baby boomers so much? The generation that never had to fight for anything, that got free health care, free University places (fees & maintenance), good pensions and jobs for life?


Or maybe it wasn't like that. What have we lost and what have we gained?
