Sun's Out, Guns Out

I was over in Glasgow tonight at the Commonwealth Games Opening Ceremony final dress rehearsal at Celtic Park.

As a volunteer at the Games, I was given tickets to the ceremony, so headed over with Anita, Sarah and Anu.

It was a great evening, rather inspiring stuff with a whole host of surprises - which I won't tell you about now, I'd hate to spoil the surprise on Wednesday! This is a photo of the crowd in the stadium in the fading evening light.

One thing I particularly liked was the snipers on the roof of the flats on Springfield Street and the fully armed police with massive machine guns, they weren't actually part of the show I hasten to add. But you know, when in Glasgow, Sun's out, Guns out!
