Gaudy Kranker Hund.......

This print is famous for appearing in move Amelie.....this was unknown to us when we bought it years ago in Seattle. It was painted by German artist Michael Sowa & we love it !!!

For years it was in a cheap clip art frame.......the minute we saw this gaudy frame in Ikea a few months ago we both instantly thought of the Kranker Hund !!!

We went to Ikea this evening & the sorry looking pooch is now hanging in our bedroom in a completely over the top but somehow appropriate frame.......
